Our Mission
We’re Science& — a nonprofit 501(c)(3) offering leadership development and professional training workshops to scientists.
We’re industry natives who want to empower you with everything you need to thrive outside of the lab: communication, resilience, and a felt sense of belonging that supports retention and advancement.
We started after we noticed an unfortunate paradox in science: the minds best suited to change the field often receive the least support.
There’s a hidden curriculum of leadership and communication skills that leads out-of-the-box thinkers - especially those from historically excluded groups - to feel like outsiders, struggling with burnout, imposter syndrome, and isolation.
Our workshops teach these foundational skills using a unique interdisciplinary approach. Our data-backed methods translate skills from the visual, written, and performance arts to your everyday needs, and help you grow in just one hour.
We pair these concrete skills with an in-the-room experience designed to increase confidence and connection — and 300+ scientists report an immediate shift.
